Located in Switzerland's financial epicenter, the new gowago offices in Zurich redefine the corporate workspace experience. As one of the most innovative companies in the automotive leasing sector, the brand sought to embed its dynamic, ever-moving DNA within its headquarters. The result is a high-performance interior design project that masterfully integrates elements from the automotive industry with a contemporary, industrial elegance.
The spatial progression through the office is, quite literally, a journey. Circulation areas have been transformed into a driving track through an ingenious dark flooring design that incorporates dashed white lines, simulating a road. This playful element guides team members through the space, flanked by suspended acoustic panels that provide an impeccable visual rhythm, alongside vibrant murals reinforcing the company's philosophy: 'Make the world move with a smile.'
The devotion to automobiles permeates every corner, embedding a passion for motoring directly into the furniture. In the lounge area, the steel coffee table reveals on its lower tier a flawless, orange-toned Porsche scale model, transforming the piece into a subtle display case. This same narrative thread extends to the collaborative workspaces, where a scale-model Lamborghini adorns the expansive natural wood workstations, injecting energy and serving as a constant reminder of the core business, all beneath the glow of an imposing neon sign that crowns the space.
The color palette strategically employs the vibrant corporate orange to zone and stimulate. From the hexagon-patterned rug in the lounge to the acoustic ceiling panels, color acts as a unifying thread that brings warmth to the space's natural light.
In the open-plan work area, functionality meets comfort. High-end ergonomic chairs, clutter-free workstations, and felt acoustic dividers provide an environment that fosters deep focus without sacrificing a sense of openness.
This project strikes a perfect balance between a visually striking aesthetic and a wellness-centric design. It does not merely house a leasing company; it propels it, creating a workplace ecosystem that operates with the same precision, innovation, and style as the vehicles they put on the road.
